Creative Dexterity Handmade Art and Jewelry by Lauren Anabela Beaudoin

Lauren Anabela Beaudoin is an artist, metalsmith and founder of Creative Dexterity, which launched in 2007. The name reflects the ways in which her hands play a major role in her creative process, whether holding a paintbrush, hammer, torch, pencil or, ultimately, Lauren’s finished work. In a way, creating and dexterity go “hand in hand.”

Lauren earned her BFA in metals from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boson in 2004. Beaudoin had experience as a metals studio technician and has studied ceramics, fiber, foundry, painting and welding. She was a former Metals Department Head at the Worcester Center for Crafts where she current instructs both youth and adult school courses in the metals program. She is also an active studio artist in western Massachusetts.
