It's a Boy!

So far he’s been a peach, except for the fact that he tends to snore, fart without warning, wake up before the sunrises and spends a majority of the day sleeping!

But I’m willing to look past that especially if it means quality snuggle time!

How to get out of doing dishes
My finger became so tender to the touch I decided to get it checked out. The doctor had to burn through the nail, hurt like a b*tch, and pick at the swollen cuticle to relieve any trapped bacteria and possible puss. After that I was directed to soak my finger 4 times a day and take bactrim twice daily. I could handle that.
Things were looking good. My finger, despite still looking awful was no longer tender to the touch and I could move it without any discomfort. However within a week my over health was a bit off but I figured it was because the season was changing plus I had just ran my first 10K and I was just sore. By the next evening I was covered from head to toe with hives, my lymph nodes on my neck swollen, lips puffy and had sensitive eyes. After not being able to swallow my dinner normally and got dizzy from getting up to fast I prepared to go to the ER.

The ER was mobbed; everyone must have been excited about the new health care plan. Luckily I was sent right in because I looked like a human dalmatian freak show, I was turning heads. Though I was stuck in the hallway for a majority of the night where I was given an IV, injected with benadryl then steroids which didn’t do much. I think my doctors name was Dr. Dooper or Dr. Doober which I thought was the best name until he told me I had to get an epi shot in my thigh and wait four hours to make sure it didn’t counter act in my system.

After being in there for the whole night I was bummed I didn’t see anything too crazy like you would on ”ER” (my boyfriend mentioned he saw a guy having a seizure which I missed in my half awake/asleep benadryl state)...in fact the only highlight was getting out at 4:30am to go to a 24 hour CVS pharmacy to prank call this guy in order to wake him up to give me my prednisone!

And that’s how I escaped doing dishes for the week!
